Wow...our tomato plants are growing quite well. It took about a week for the sprouts to make their out out of the soil and we now have several plants with two or more leaves:) Let's hope for sunny weather over the next couple of weeks so that our plants can continue to thrive:)

Welcome to Division 9's plant blog!
We are starting a Natural Sciences unit on Plants this month and this blog will be updated often with information and photos about the tomato plants that we are growing in the classroom.
We are taking part in a program title «Tomatosphere». I was sent two packets of seeds- one set was germinated on the International Space Station while the other was germinated on Earth.
We will be planting the seeds on Tuesday, April 10th and will watch them grow over the next month.
